2. Professional practices in day-care institutions and children's experiences as participants
3. Welfare state policy towards small children in an historical-comparative perspective
4. The notion of 'natural childhood' exemplified by the pertinence of nature and out-door life in ordinary and nature day-care centres, and
5. Institutionalisation in a generational perspective
