By air

Direct shuttles to Trondheim:

From Copenhagen: SASBraathens

From Amsterdam: KLM

From London Stansted: Norwegian

From Oslo: Norwegian and SASBraathens*

*If you travel via Oslo, there are a number of opportunities. If you travel on tight budget, be aware that some of the budget shuttles operate Oslo airport Torp (TRF), 1.5 hours and NOK150 travel in the wrong direction from Oslo city (2,5 hours and NOK 300 from the main airport. TRF has only one air connection to Trondheim (Widerøe). You generally want to go to Oslo airport Gardermoen (OSL)

From Trondheim Airport:

Bus shuttles operate regularily, 40 minutes, NOK 70. The shuttle arrives at the major hotels downtown. If you head directly to the workshop at Dragvoll, you get off at busstop "Prinsen" and catch Bus No 5 "Dragvoll" to it's final destination (NOK22). Accommodations are found at different loacations around Trondheim, refer to accommodation info.

Taxis (TrønderTaxi and Stjørdal Taxi) are available outside. You can order a shared airport taxi at NOK295 per person, but this must be booked 4 hours in advance at tlf 07373 (inside Norway only). Ordinary taxis cost 510-560 NOK depending on the taxi company, ask for scheduled fixed price.

By bus

Nor-way operates express coaches from Oslo Central via Oslo airport (OSL), route 135, NOK 350 one way, 7.5 hours. It is not necessary to book, the company guarantees seates for all passengeres.

Get off at bus stop "Prinsen", walk straight across the road to catch bus no 5 "Dragvoll" to go directly to the Workshop. Accommodations are found at different loacations around Trondheim, refer to accommodation info.

A competing company, lavprisekspressen, offers prices down to NOK 50 from Oslo depending on number of tickets left (and same prices Copenhagen / Kastrup-Oslo), but tickets must be booked and paid well in advance from their website. This company also passes Oslo airport (OSL), but not right outside. The airport staff will have information on how to get there (5 minutes by free of charge shufflebus - Quality hotel Gardermoen)

By train

Trains are faster and more comfortable, fares from NOK199-750 one way from Oslo / Oslo airport, depending on when you book. Book and pay by creditcard at NSB. The pages are not available in english, but are pretty easy to understand. When you have chosen which train to book, chose type of ticket ("billettype") and click "Beregn pris" to see the fare offered for each kind of ticket. The cheapest ones are not refundable.

From Trondheim railway station, either walk (see map) or catch any bus outside and get off at "Prinsen" to catch No5 Dragvoll to the workshop. Accommodations are found at different loacations around Trondheim, refer to accommodation info.
